Domus Grappa was the first grappa created by bartenders, for bartenders — and beyond. The brainchild of former Italian bartender Massimiliano Favaretto, Domus aims to change the way the world approaches grappa, elevating it to the finest level while keeping the most important part unchanged: the Italian spirit.
“Domus” means home — because for Massimiliano, the aroma of grappa is inseparable from the memory of growing up in Italy. That personal connection drives every decision, from the sourcing of pomace to the selection of distilleries. Created in collaboration with master distiller Roberto Dellavalle, every expression is produced in small batches using traditional techniques.
Domus Grappa is crafted to present authentic, artisanal grappa sourced from particular villages and made from single varietal grapes, distilled by carefully chosen local distilleries across the Piedmont region of north-west Italy. That way, every glass of Domus is a true and faithful representation of a certain Italian area — its traditions, its grape and its terroir.
The label design, created by Agnieszka Szypicyn, is inspired by vintage Italian grappa labels — a visual homage to the heritage and craft that defines the range. Domus revitalises the grappa category through a mix of tradition, craftsmanship and experimentation, designed for both mixing and contemplative sipping.
Made with pomace sourced directly from the famous Barolo area and distilled from 100% Nebbiolo grape — the powerful, aromatic variety behind one of Italy’s most celebrated wines. This expression is aged in French oak barrels for two years, developing rich depth and complexity.
A grappa of real stature, the Barolo expression bridges the gap between digestif and fine spirit. Expect the warmth of aged oak, the elegance of Nebbiolo and a finish that lingers with leather, tobacco and dried fruit.
Chocolate, dried berries and faint tobacco. Warm, inviting and immediately evocative of the Piedmontese hills in autumn.
Vanilla, chocolate, dried fruit, cinnamon, leather and tobacco. Full-bodied, layered and beautifully structured, with the French oak lending a smooth, rounded warmth throughout.

Domus Barolo is the flagship of the range — a grappa that commands the same respect as the noble Nebbiolo grape from which it is born. Aged, structured and unapologetically premium, it is crafted for those who appreciate Italy’s finest.
Distilled from the pomace of Ruché — a rare, red indigenous grape from the Monferrato area in Piedmont, grown exclusively in the hills of the seven villages around Castagnole Monferrato. This was the very first Domus expression, released as a limited edition of just 500 bottles.
Unaged and crystal clear, the Ruché captures the delicate, floral character of this mysterious grape variety in its purest form — a grappa that is elegant, aromatic and unlike anything else in the category.
Nutty and oily, with white peach, rose and lemon zest. Delicate and perfumed, with an inviting freshness.
White peach, violet, aloe vera, rose and red berries. An oily mouthfeel carries the flavours beautifully, with roasted almond, light milk chocolate and a long, nutty finish touched by rosewater.
Crystal Clear
Domus Ruché is the expression that started it all — a grappa born from one of Italy’s rarest grape varieties, capturing the mystery and beauty of Monferrato in every sip. Delicate, floral and utterly distinctive.
Made from Moscato — one of Piedmont’s most iconic and aromatic grape varieties — this expression is aged in French oak barrels for two years. The result is a grappa that balances the grape’s naturally perfumed, honeyed character with the depth and warmth of oak maturation.
A beautifully approachable grappa with real elegance. The Moscato’s signature aromatics — orange blossom, peach, honey — are given structure and length by the French oak, making it equally rewarding as a digestif, a cocktail base or a contemplative sipper.
Nutty, orange with a hint of honey. Warm and inviting, with the distinctive perfume of Moscato grape coming through clearly.
Honey, orange blossom, peach, apricot and hazelnut. Sweet-toned but beautifully balanced, with the oak adding a gentle spiced warmth and a smooth, lingering finish.

Domus Moscato is the most approachable expression in the range — a grappa that celebrates the perfumed, honeyed character of Piedmont’s most beloved aromatic grape. Aged in French oak for depth and balance, it is a bridge between the familiar and the extraordinary.
