Where Tradition Meets Modern Craft

From Spice To Sip

Stranger & Sons is crafted from nine inherently Indian botanicals, sourced from the lush coastal terrain of Goa and the spice belts of the Western Ghats — a living archive of flavour shaped by monsoon, mountain and sea.

Botanicals are selected by our founders Rahul Mehra, Sakshi Saigal and Vidur Gupta for intensity and provenance. Aromatic Gondhoraj lemons from the East, Nagpur oranges, Indian bergamot and Goan nimbu are hand-peeled by local women in the community, while black pepper, coriander, nutmeg, mace, liquorice and cassia bark bring the warm, layered spice that defines the expression.

The liquid is crafted at Third Eye Distillery in Ponda, Goa, using a multi-shot distillation method in a custom I-still. Citrus peels receive the longest maceration, followed by juniper, pepper, coriander and nutmeg — with mace, cassia and liquorice introduced last to finish the spirit with a warm, rounded tail.

Founded in 2018, Stranger & Sons is a contemporary ode to India’s agricultural diversity and storytelling tradition. A Gold Outstanding medallist at the IWSC and Gin of the Year at The Whisky Exchange, it is a spirit from India that captures the spirit of India.

The Original Expression

Stranger & Sons Gin

Crafted with nine inherently Indian botanicals and a generous weight of juniper, Stranger & Sons is a contemporary-style gin that reimagines the London Dry tradition through an unmistakably Indian lens.

Made to be poured generously over ice or stirred into a classic serve, Stranger & Sons delivers a layered, three-dimensional liquid with warmth, freshness and spice in equal measure.

Nose

Aromatic Indian citrus builds first — Gondhoraj lemon, Nagpur orange, Indian bergamot and nimbu — layered over fresh juniper, soft coriander and a whisper of sweet cassia.

Palate

Bold and characterful. Black pepper, nutmeg and mace drive a warm, spiced middle, while juniper holds a firm backbone. A persistent spicy undertone lifts the liquid without overpowering the citrus.

Appearance

Crystal Clear

Stranger & Sons is a celebration of India’s agricultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit. Crafted for drinkers who value provenance and complexity, it is a gin designed to reward both the curious sipper and the classic G&T ritual.

A Tropical Rendezvous

Perry Road Peru

India’s first distilled cocktail, Perry Road Peru is a limited-edition expression born from a collaboration with Mumbai’s celebrated Bombay Canteen. Inspired by the ripe pink guavas — perus — sold on Bandra’s Perry Road, it captures a fleeting seasonal moment in a bottle.

The nine Indian botanicals of Stranger & Sons meet the lush, tropical sweetness of pink guava, creating a distilled cocktail that is ready to serve on the rocks, with tonic and a salt-chilli rim, or as a vibrant base for creative mixology.

Nose

Ripe pink guava lifts first, trailed by warm spice, soft citrus and the familiar juniper signature. Floral and fruit-forward, with a nostalgic, sun-warmed sweetness.

Palate

Lusciously fruit-driven yet structurally dry. The perfume of perus is held in check by black pepper, coriander and cassia, finishing with a smooth, gently spiced tail.

Appearance

Pale Blush

Perry Road Peru is a love letter to Bombay’s street fruit sellers and India’s culture of seasonal ritual. Fresh, balanced and unmistakably distinctive, it lingers long enough on the palate to take you back to the perus of days past.

A Cross-Continental Collaboration

Spice Trade Gin

A cross-continental collaboration between Stranger & Sons and Australia’s Four Pillars, Spice Trade Gin is described as a “Goan spice bazaar meeting some Aussie natives in a bottle.” A bold exchange of botanicals shared across the Indian Ocean, distilled in small batches and limited by design.

Built on a solid juniper canvas, it fuses Indian turmeric, finger lime, long pepper, fresh red chilli and black cardamom with Australian macadamia, cashew, lemon myrtle and sarsaparilla — creating a gin that is big, bright and unmistakably ambitious.

Nose

Vibrant and layered. Finger lime, chilli, cardamom and turmeric rise first, underpinned by a firm juniper backbone and a subtle woody warmth of cassia.

Palate

Huge and complex. Macadamia and cashew give weight, while green Szechuan, long pepper and red chilli deliver a warming spiced depth. Lemon and anise myrtle lift the finish into something bright and aromatic.

Appearance

Clear with a soft golden hue

Spice Trade is a celebration of craft, curiosity and cross-cultural partnership. Bold, spice-forward and richly aromatic, it rewards adventurous palates and serves as a statement piece for any serious gin portfolio.
